Monody was initially conceived by a shared love for electronic music, and a desire to push the known envelope of what can be accomplished in a live situation. Monody was formed in the autumn of 2006 out of the Ashes of nothing. Monody will follow any one note to the ends of the earth to trap it, subdue it and make it ours. That is our mission.
